About

Hi, I’m Queen Raae.

🖐️ Hi, I’m Benedicte (Queen) Raae.

My co-captain Ola, our Pirate Princess and I run Lilly Labs, a small dev studio in the old family factory we also call home. Located in cosy Rodeløkka, Oslo, Norway.

Currently living the fractional life as CTO at Whee!. I’m also dusting off the speaker badge. Open for internal talks on joyful AI usage for both devs and the non-techie crowd → Get in touch.

It all started roughly 30 years ago when my Norwegian teacher introduced a group of us girls to HTML + CSS in junior high. That spark led to a Master’s in Computer Science, Gründerskolen, and a voyage that’s included the first Varsom app, Lillygram, POW!, work for the Swedish Armed Forces, piraty live streaming on YouTube, talks on small and large stages, and plenty of galskap in between.

Every other week I chat with Benedikt Deicke on the Slow & Steady podcast. My first name is Benedicte, so that’s kinda funny: Benedikt and Benedicte (lol).
