Over-engineering much?

Hello,

I know I have a tendency towards overengineering, but it is still hard to catch myself in the act.

“Overengineering (or over-engineering, or over-kill) is the act of designing a product to be more robust or have more features than often necessary for its intended use, or for a process to be unnecessarily complex or inefficient.” - Wikipedia

But this week, I did.

Its been nagging me that I do not reach out to new users of POW! when they sign up. So this week, I started researching marketing automation tools and outlining a sequence of six emails or so.

Then it hit me!

I only have 30 some customers.
Why not simply email them manually myself?

So that is what I will do.

Are you guilty of over-engineering?

Until next week,
Benedicte
